Windows XP Mode

>>Download<<  469 MB

On April 8, 2014 Microsoft has ended support for Microsoft Windows XP. As a result, Windows XP Mode is no longer available on Microsoft's website for download. I believe that anyone who purchased a compatible edition of Windows 7, should have the right to download Windows XP Mode if they choose. (after all, you paid for Windows 7, and this IS one of the features you paid for with your license) However it is important to note, that since Windows XP is no longer supported, there will be no new updates from Microsoft (however current updates seem to be working at the present time). This means, there are security risks by continuing to use XP Mode.

You will need to have Microsoft Virtual PC installed on your computer for this file to work. This file has not been modified in any way. It is exactly the same as when I downloaded it from back in 2010.

*This download is only for people who have a valid Windows license for Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise, or Windows 7 Ultimate.
